    Re: Here we go

Also extends all the way to Bell and Claiborne Counties.

Whenever you see a complex of storms looking like that, its a good sign it'll be a long-live damaging event. When it was crossing over into western KY the watch info had details out saying hail up 2 1/2 inches and wind gusts up to 105 possible. Watch info for central and eastern KY and TN just down to 2 inch hail and 80 mph winds, not much better, haha. Surprising that's not a tornado watch either.

Certainly keep an eye on this as it gets closer to us this evening if it doesn't weaken. Watch out for storms popping up out ahead of the main lines too, those could become severe and dangerous storms.

    Re: Here we go

Tornado watch out now for the area (including Lee, Wise, Dickenson, and Buchannan counties) until midnight. Lead line just crossing I-75. Some trailing storms behind it also.

Some lightning, lot of rain, and a little bit of wind here in Jackson.

    Re: Here we go

Tornado warning out Leslie and Letcher Counties in east KY. This storm is heading east toward the state line and if it holds together may get into Dickenson and maybe clip northern Wise County. Another potentially tornadic storm trailing it too. Storm heading just to the south of Kingsport still has a tornado warning out for it, spotters reported a tornado near Rogersville with it at around 8, that one has had a warning out all they way through TN from the middle part of the state.

    Leslie/Letcher info..
